Join KATH

Kentucky Association of Teachers of HistoryKATH relies on your membership dues to be able to offer an annual meeting, held usually on a Saturday in the fall, which brings together teachers from all levels and focuses on varied and interesting themes, ranging from current historical trends to recent teaching strategies. The exchange of ideas and the fellowship shared at these meetings and at the Friday night receptions are some of the main attractions for members.  Dues also support the KATH awards for student papers demonstrating excellence in historical thinking, research and writing.  Dues-paying members are invited to join and contribute to the H-Kentucky network and the KATH-online.org blog in order to receive further announcements and join in discussions about history throughout the year.  Please contact the KATH treasurer, Dr. Alana Cain Scott, using the form below if you have any questions about how your dues are spent.

Traditionally the KATH Annual membership is $10 per person per annum ($5 for students). We have also been asking for “Blue Ribbon Patrons” to donate $50 to help revive the depleted funds required for KATH Annual Meetings to continue to invite prestigious keynoters and workshop facilitators. Please fill out the secure form below (you do not need a PayPal account to use your credit card on their secure website) or send a check made out to KATH to the KATH Treasurer, Dr. Alana Cain Scott, 419 E. Main Street, Morehead, KY 40351.
